Much closer then we deserve to be.

Cronin has been so positive. Working his arse off, even if it hasn't come off every time.

Leinster need to play the ref better...>Exeter are running a muck, no point the crowd booing. If he is letting everyone offside then Leinster should be offside as well.....

8 points behind after a horror first half isn't the worst outcome. Leinster need the first score in the 2nd half of they want any hope of winning.

An ugly one but it counts.

We are absolutely flattered by the scoreline. Hope the 20 mins with 14 men hasn't jaded us too badly.

Really annoying when fans go into that "boo everything" mode...

Exeter really clever at the breakdown. Not commiting and fanning out most of the time and going for the turnover when someone is isolated in contact. Need to carry quickly around the fringes to force them to commit.

To be fair that's easy to do when you've 20 minutes with an extra man.

We just need to protect our own ball better.
Ruddock missing is killing us, jvdf and seanie need to be more role specific

I'd accept 11 points behind after that half

    Eight is even better.

Need to seriously smarten up in the second half. Play the ref a bit more for sure.

How are Exeter not down a man?? High on McGrath and their 7 flying in using the head

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,811 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

Completely outplayed ...2 yellow cards..still only 8 points down.

Have to be happy with that. Exeter are coming up really hard...probably offside. I think the ref is also allowing Exeter to compete at the ruck for that extra second that he shouldn't be doing.

Fair play to Exeter...they are showing great mettle after last week's defeat.

I think you could make a switch at half time, move SOB to 7 and bring on Leavy.

Really annoying when fans go into that "boo everything" mode...

Absolutely deserved - why wasn't the TMO used when two clear card events happened? Hardly surprising the home fans are booing that

Byrne has been woeful his decision making Nd kicking quality

Byrne doesn't look right at all and I wonder if his head injury is affecting him today. It was a huge hit and I'm surprised he came back. His decisions making and execution both look off, and it's noticeable he's not taking goal kicks as he always takes them ahead of Nacewa. I don't think he's right after that big head injury.

The call to run it from that scrum could be huge.

Think ref has got all calls spot on TBH

Ref trying to balance it out somewhat after letting Healy off the hook?

    Far from clear card events

...as long as the thread doesn't post about home-town booing in the next Leinster away match.

    Pigs might fly.

The ref has been lenient on all manner of things, breakdown, offside...and Cian Healy too.

Really annoying when fans go into that "boo everything" mode...

Fans were booing what looked like a clear high tackle on McGrath who was away. At the game so haven't seen a replay

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,714 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

The biggest worry for Leinster, other than Exeter's dominance at the breakdown, is that we haven't really threatened Exeter in their 22. Exeter look like they've a few more scores in them. Leinster haven't even started to play.

    TMO checked that

Fans are booing Exeter players simply being in the pitch.

    BOOOOOOOOO

Ref very quick to blow for mail, then very quick to blow for advantage over.

Blatantly forward pass missed by the ref there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,714 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinster get pen advg, overplay in midfield, lose ball and come under huge pressure in own 22.

  • Registered Users Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

There was a clear forward pass and Kearney bundled him into touch there.

The ref also can't go back to check in touch there because it was more than two phases as well!?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,010 ✭✭✭MattD

The linesman should be catching that blatant forward pass too, useless...

    Tackler didn't release?

Poor from SOB, how many times has L.McGrath had to clear out a ruck.

    McGrath's having a shocker.
