That's the first instance of visible degradation I've ever heard of in an Ioniq.

    No, this is real!

I had lost 3 bars the other day, but I found a fix online. It involves plugging it in until all bars are recovered. :D

Anyone on here driving the gloriously clean looking blue Ioniq I saw at the rapid charger in Ballindine yesterday?

Nearly sure I saw the same one at the rapid in Castlebar half an hour or so later too!

Could have been me...many people could have seen me yesterday...

    Galway>Shannon>Castlebar>Leitrim>Castlebar>Galway

I stopped @ ~75% in Ballindine as Leaf arrived and picked up a passanger in castlebar, so took a quick dash and splash.

Yeah pretty sure that was you so. First time I'd seen the blue in person, looks really well.

Wouldn't go that far, but I agree it's not as bad. It's worst on the white, followed by the black, then silver then blue. I think :p

I was playing around with wrapping but I've kinda got used to it now......not the cars best feature.

If go so far as to say that the grill almost looks well. It actually does not look bad at all. The red looks really good, well wear

The grill looks best when viewed from the side or rear of the car. :pac:

Any pics? Is Iron Grey the new name for Aurora Silver or is it a new colour altogether?

    Well wear!

Someone else on here bought ELM427's old car. And it was Phantom Black ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 61 ✭✭mioniqa

A-ha! the mileage of mine and the previous map locations seemed to tie in with his car so I put two and two together and got 5 :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,581 ✭✭✭✭ELM327

ELM's old car was indeed phantom black and was indeed sold to a boardsie - but a different boardsie so you don't have it lol

It's posts like this that make me think I should be more careful with what I post online to be honest :D

(Not to mention I removed all PII from the car before selling it on so there were no prior locations in it!!)

FYI to those who eventually sell on their Ioniqs - It's probably a good idea to clear all map locations before it's sold on. It feels kind of weird that I can see where the car has been.

    +1
Pretty good advice for all cars with integrated GPS/nav

To be fair the dealership should probably do this! I might see if I can delete the old data myself.

Do you mean the address book or is there somewhere else where it just logs every journey you do?

I'm only relatively new to the car, but from memory it's the address book. It seems to save previous destinations entered into the SatNav.
