I think I did Pete, a few pages up. Latest software is from 1902 iirc.

    Thanks!

    Is this the latest version?

  • Registered Users Posts: 399 ✭✭Petetheroadie

Hmm, maybe not per your post Unkel.

Ok, 1902 is what I'll look for.

  • Registered Users Posts: 65,031 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Nope. Top line starts with 1810 (Oct last year)

You are looking for 1902 (Feb this year)

Browse back a few pages, I'm pretty sure I posted mine up after my service in April / May

Ah, that's where the date is in it. Bastards! I got mine updated in May/June and that's what they loaded onto it. I've nothing but contempt for Kearys.

    Latest software and map versions:

    479834.jpg

All the charge points including fast chargers now included so it seems:

    479832.jpg

You can see the live traffic, but I don't think there's a live status on the chargers:

    479833.jpg

    479835.jpg

As can be expected, the CHAdeMO chargers that have recently been replaced with triple head ones, like the one at Newland's cross, are still only in as CHAdeMO

    Still, a nice update :)

    Here's unkels from May

Ah ok that was mine alright. My car was serviced nearly 6 months ago though, maybe there's newer firmware now?

  • Registered Users Posts: 399 ✭✭Petetheroadie

Ok, well I'll see what's on mine tomorrow. Thanks lads

God knows what that firmware update actually means though. Frustrating not know whether it's worth my while getting the update or not.

From what i've been reading, Android Auto is affected somewhat in the latest firmware (AE_EV.EUR.SOP.007.3.190314)

    https://www.goingelectric.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=120&t=22772&hilit=181002&start=480
2nd post on this page (how's your German?)
And reiterated here (albeit quoting the same site as above):
    https://www.ioniqforum.com/threads/updating-the-firmware-on-your-ioniq-at-home-2019.32418/page-3

    EDIT: https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_messages/1739939/65

No longer can you install 3rd party apps is all. Android auto still works fine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 65,031 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Doesn't say much except that you can no longer hack into Android after the new update.

  • Registered Users Posts: 655 ✭✭✭adunis

Yep I can vouch for that, secret menu shortcuts no longer working....

  • Registered Users Posts: 619 ✭✭✭slicedpanman

For anyone that imported; does the balance of the 5 years AA assistance transfer over too?
Or does that only come with the Irish cars?

  • Registered Users Posts: 65,031 ✭✭✭✭unkel

AA Ireland assistance only comes with Irish cars. Is it really 5 years though?

Not that relevant as nearly all decent comprehensive insurance policies come with tow away service included.

It's supposed to be 5 years according Hyundai yeah.

  • Registered Users Posts: 65,031 ✭✭✭✭unkel

First thing I did when I got the car home was getting rid of the AA and various other stickers :D

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,173 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

I never got an AA sticker with mine :(

Why would you want one, does it make the AA van come any quicker :P

Next import question; is the full Hyundai warranty transferred? Irish dealership will do any warranty work no questions/no issues?

I ask, as someone from Kearys is trying to convince me that only UK dealers can carry out warranty work

Someone will correctly if I'm wrong but Keary's are incorrect there as far as I know. They sound like absolute chancers based on Black_Knight's experiences with them too tbh.

Yeah, happy with it. The exchange rate dropped a bit but I still did well. Think final price in Euro was ~€25600

How many Ioniq Electric are there in Ireland, did someone do the sums (from beepbeep data)?

Incredible to think that 50 of us made it in here!

Well wear Petetheroadie, I know you will enjoy your new car
