O'Beirne made 20s squad? Ahead of Patterson, O'Sullivan and Kenny?

I know that Kenny was due to have surgery on his shoulder and was unsure if he wanted to do the 20s training

    Galvin(wing), o Beirne(scrumhalf) and Corcoran(lock) are in the u20s Squad not u19s.
This has to be a joke

  • Registered Users Posts: 30 Aussie_Bloke

Nope no joke. Think o beirne was a call up if kenny was injured. Personally would have Fabian there instead.

Northampton academy twitter has a few photos and a highlights video of the schools game.
    John Maher 11
    Sam Dardis 13
    Andrew Smith 14
Chris Cosgrave 15, kicked a monster penalty from inside own half

Joeys booth 6,ed Brennan 8. Leinster u 19 also have a match report on the website

Blackrock favourites, followed by Belvedere, St. Michaels, Clongowes, Terenure, Roscrea, Marys.

Black rock need to seriously step it up to win, unimpressed by them last year. Belvo will win SC for sure.

It's August so nothing is "for sure" .

Rock and Belvo will be there or there abouts which is in keeping with how it's been for the last few years

Seems odd that there is no Belvo reps.

does it? They've won the last 2 senior titles but that would put most who would have played in them overage for 18s for this season. Expect more in 19s and 20s/development no???

Fair enough I'm not sure of everyone's age's but would have thought one or 2 would get in maybe Cailean Mulvaney.

there were a couple in the extended squad, but none made the cut which isn't surprising but hardly the end of the day for those lads...

although it is a weird enough team selection.
