Referee: Sam Grove-White (SRU – competition debut)

I hope this has no bearing on the outcome of the game

That's exactly where Larmour should be imo.
And hopefully will nail down that spot over the next couple of seasons.
I'm not anti Rob K by any means, I just think Larmour has the potential to usurp him pretty rapidly.

Glad to see Deegan getting the start even with Conan released. Team should be good enough to get a win butI certainly wouldn't be counting on a BP for this one.

    Dragons team:

15 Angus O’Brien, 14 Jared Rosser, 13 Adam Warren, 12 Jack Dixon, 11 Ashton Hewitt, 10 Gavin Henson, 9 Sarel Pretorius; 1 Sam Hobbs, 2 Ellis Shipp, 3 Lloyd Fairbrother, 4 Joe Davies, 5 Matthew Screech, 6 Aaron Wainwright, 7 Ollie Griffiths ©, 8 James Benjamin.

Replacements; Gerard Ellis, Luke Garrett, Brok Harris, Rynard Landman, Ben Roach, Dan Babos, Arwel Robson, Connor Edwards.

Our pack is more than a match for them. Home at the RDS after a long break. Players will be very up for this.

I'd be exceptionally disappointed if we didn't out 5 on these lads

would be said to lose the 2nd playmaker.

Larmour has a lot of work to do positionally..

    With Ireland:
Healy, McGrath, Tracy, Furlong, Toner, Ryan, SOB, Ruddock, McGrath, Sexton, Henshaw, Byrne, R Kearney, D Kearney

    Injured:
M Kearney, Leavy, VDF, Heaslip, Carbery, Ringrose, T Daly, B Daly

Add to that the fact that Lowe isn't up to speed yet and that's 23 players we're missing. With that much in the way of absentees I'm pretty happy with that squad.

He does indeed, agree with you.
And it's opportunities like this that should help him to get that work done.

Scratch team who haven't played in a few weeks made up of 2nd and 3rd string players. I'd look for a solid win but 4 tries will be precisely what it's referred to....a bonus.

He makes up for his positional naivete with his pace.

He is however very small and haven't seen him get very high in the air yet under the high ball.

Not a full strength team presumeably because its against the Dragons.

A chance for a few down the pecking order to put their hands up.

To be fair it's probably a marginally better side than the one that took the field against Glasgow a few weeks back and they managed 3 tries against a superior team. Probably should have bagged the 4th really. At home against a relatively poor Dragons side (albeit they haven't come bearing the white flag) I'd be hopeful that we could get all 5.

The Dragons beat The Scarlets last week in the Anglo cup although I say both teams were experimental..

Great to see Nagle back in harness in time to begin Project Tokyo.

Delighted for O'Brien to have an opportunity again after such a difficult debut last time, especially his poor kick. Good luck to him.

The Scarlets team was completely. There are a few of the Dragons players from that 23 that have been selected for this week too so a bit less so on their part.

Yeah, he wasn't too bad overall but definitely looked like a guy getting his first cap. That kick was one to forget. :D

Hopefully Henshaw's harrowing hammy hasn't horribly hurt him.

Nacewa back to 12 and Ringrose at 13 for Europe if Henshaw is out. Obviously not good but not a disaster if those two are available.

    RObbie has a hamstring injury.

Joe doesn't risk anyone with any sort of niggles/injuries so hopefully it's precautionary..

Actually it will be interesting to see what Joe says about Robbie when announces the Irish team

Joe Schmidt: Robbie Henshaw has a slight hamstring strain. At a push he could have been involved, but it should see him fine for a big period coming up

Not sure Cronin will be first choice, Exeter have a good pack and Tracey seems to be preferred at the moment against better scrummaging teams. I wonder is the law change around hooking playing a factor in that.

That's a damn good team for a club who doesn't buy in lots of expensive imports.

if we could retain all our players we'd probably be stronger, bar at 12 & 2.

I know James Lowe is the new flavour of the month, but I think it should be:
