Unfortunately I am traveling that day (and looks like I have my holidays and travels clashing with most events :( )

Enjoy the day, never played it, it is in my bucket list

Are you looking for a spot woody? We pre book all courses for 20 players on the timesheet so we need to ask for more time if we go beyond that?

    If it's possible yea.
If there's no one else looking no worries.

I’ll get it up tomorrow I’m just waiting on Carton to get back to me on getting an extra tee time, I presume the course was closed today with the snow when I couldn’t get through.
I think you requested an early slot so you’ll be out at 10:30am:)

    WoodyG in there twice.

Thanks for getting me in late, looking forward to it.

I played Monty last week and the Carton range was closed but the Academy was open but a 2-3min drive from the pro shop.

It was my first time there, keep going until you see Golf Course parking and the pro shop is directly across the road through the archway.

Looks good. I haven't played before so a few questions!
Do I have to sign in at the clubhouse or just show up on the first tee?
Who or where do I pay?
    Anything else?
    Thanks a mill :)

    Sign in at clubhouse generally.
Couple of the lads will have a table in the bar/restaurant and there'll be minigrills as far as the eye can see. There'll be a crowd around them trying to steal sausages. Just pay those fellas at the table ;)
    Enjoy!

Raging I won't be there. Gonna be one of the summer ones before I get a chance now

As Rik says, Post will have a table set up, and knowing Carton, it will probably be just inside the door as you walk in.

Get there early though, as Post will need to fix up with the pro shop and then get ready for his round, so it is unfair to delay him.

I played it once years ago. But have very little memory of it other then the three river holes.

Remember it being a bombers paradise - custom designed for your needs :-)

its been a couple of years since i played it and I've only played it the once since it was re-jigged and it was a long time before that since I had previously gone around the track so I'm not going to give any guides.

for anyone who played it a long time ago, they used to drive you up the hill to the first tee in a bus, but since the new holes were added you now walk around to the first, but it is not right beside the clubhouse so be warned to make sure you give yourself a few minutes

The river holes are lovely though, the par 5 reminds me a lot of 16 at the K Club.

I think BigChap is right, bombers paradise so someong needs to hide Roadrunners driver :D
