There's talk that The Event might go to another channel

Nick Wauters spinning like no tomorrow, he reminds me of Tom Wheeler spinning The Cape.....The Event has NO hope on any channel, even cable.

    goodbye
    Brothers & Sisters
    V
    No Ordinary Family
    Detroit 1-8-7
    Off the Map
    Mr. Sunshine
    Better With You

ABC aint waisting no time, but TBF the only show i cared about there was better with you, i thought it was a pretty good show for what it was, filler:D and and getting 6 million viewers with no hype, youd think it would have been a safe bet,

There'll be nothing left to watch in September, I'll have to find a hobby that doesn't involve being entertained by strangers. I suppose I could save money on Broadband by dropping to a monthly 10GB allowance.:(

The Event was getting warmed up, and I would like them to at least get another series out of it. Couldn't care less about V, as the original series was more memorable.

This year will be known as The Television Holocaust.:(:(

Good Lord, this season has been a bloodbath!

Oh well, all my favourite shows were renewed :p:p

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 21,634 ✭✭✭✭Richard Dower

Yup, total carnage and wholesale clearout of bubble shows. the shows i wanted to see renewed but knew they'd be axed were: Human Target; V; No Ordinary Family.

But next September dosen't look too bad on paper at least, i'll give Charlie's Angels a shot....but i expect it to be not like i expect, as in having humour and very light....kinda like Chuck.
I'd say it's gonna be more proceadural, slick. CSI/H50 type show with hot babes, tight clothes, flashy and sexy....but utter crap cases of closed ended mission-of-the-week fodder.

Once Upon A time/Grimm/Awake(REM) sound interesting. Need to see promos and get more info first.

Anyone reckon The Chicago Code has a chance of getting picked up by another network for a second season??

I really liked the show thought it could've been really good if it got a bit more time!!

I usually only pay attention to the shows I watch but is this worse than usual? Seems like it anyway.

I watch zero of those cancelled shows! Thought there might be one or two, but nothing at all

    Treme renewed

    A damn fine show!

Very happy to hear it has been renewed.

I am one big HBO fan. They finance some of the best TV i have ever seen.

I watched Smallville, The Event, No Ordinary Family, Lie to Me and The Good Guys (which I enjoyed in particular) so my weekly TV watching has more or less been decimated. I'll have to sample a few new shows.

Hawaii-5-0 pretty much guaranteed a second season, making $5 million profit per ep.

    http://www.spoilertv.com/2011/05/hawaii-five-0-2nd-season-pickup-to-be.html

CSI Vegas/Miami pretty much guaranteed renewal, not sure about NY but likely.
2.5 Men definately coming back with Ashton Kutcher.

should ensure a nice few years of five-0, im really liking it, its procedural but there actually seems to be a running plot from episode to episode (plus the action helps), i like the CSIs (fill 135 minutes a week) also but you could be waiting 3 years for a decent plot to appear and then all 3 shows will have one each at the one time,

The end of CSI NY season 7
has the look and feel of a last episode with mac having a near death experience solving his last unsolved case and walking away saying he has done all he can do
    and
perhaps giving CSI LA been mention/shown in CSI season 11s last episode we may get a new CSI show to replace NY

Shame about Mad Love - I've really being enjoying it. Seems like Tyler Labine can't catch a break... Reaper axed after 2 seasons when it deserved much more, and then Sons of Tucson and Mad Love after 13 episodes a piece... :(

I was watching the ratings figures on Hawaii Five 0 very carefully as it's a great show but honestly I'm just delighted Alex O'Loughlin has got a show that didn't get cancelled in the first season...Moonlight, Three Rivers!

Blue Bloods is in my top 5 shows too so was also watching the ratings on this and could see it easily getting a second season. Glad that's been confirmed though.

Pity the Chicago Code got cancelled yet we'll get a weekly fill of cheesy family dinners in Blue Bloods.

Only big loss for me this year was "Stargate: Universe" which I'm annoyed about.
"Smallville" and "Medium" ended but they knew they were ending in advance so that made it a lot better. Same for "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" ending soon.

I am really pissed off the way ABC cancelled "V" - although I thought Brothers and Sisters was gone one or two seasons ago!

No major losses for me. Outsourced was the only one I watched but I won't mourn its passing.

CW have already decided the fate of Nikita, it will be officially announced Thurs, but going by Maggie Q's latest tweet I think we're good.
Season 2??? All that's meant to be will be....:)
