Must be getting ready for Christmas. So frustrating when it goes down over the holidays. Genuinely hate the people who do this - should be tougher penalties but I guess there are more serious crimes. firstworldproblems

Go to the PlayStation plus member area on console dashboard , it's the first icon on the top. Then select manage membership button

Wonder what the chances are for there being a PSVR game included this month? Would like it personally, but I can't see Sony including them until the turn of the year as they may see it as cannibalising potential game sales around Christmas...

I have to give a shout out for " Deadly tower of monsters " . It's a great game with some very funny moments .
Played about 20 minutes of it yesterday, looks good. The DVD commentary is a great idea for gameplay

The commentary gets more ludicrous the more the game goes on. I had some lol moments listening to the director .

Just saw on neogaf that leaked games for PS4 Plus are
Invisible Inc and Stories The Path of Destinies

Whether these are definitely them, we'll find out

Jaysus, not great if that's true. You would think they would go for something good to tempt Christmas console buyers.

Over in Xbox Land they'll have Sleeping Dogs, Outlast, Burnout Paradise and more.

Invisible Inc has high ratings no? Would have thought they'd pull a quality Christmas pile but maybe not

When are the December games expected to be announced? Today or tomorrow, yeah?

Hopefully, really hope they give a free VR game even just something small like tumble or bound

To be fair, PS had Outlast free years ago and Sleeping Dogs was already free for PS3 so if they simply offered the PS4 edition you know people would be complaining about that. Plus, the PS4 edition has been down under a tenner so often that anyone who wants to play it already has.

Both Invisiable, Inc. and Stories: The Path of Destinies are both well-received games that look rather interesting and are exactly why I have Plus. Left field choices are what PS+ should be all about.

You're wrong, wrong, wrong. PS Plus is about the complete and utter absence of AAAA games, and nothing else. :pac:

That's true and I would never have played games like Limbo or Journey only for PS Plus. I did think though that they would go for a fairly big name, popular title in the lead-up to Christmas, give people the nudge to buy a PS4 if they still happen to be on the fence. But these titles are only rumours for now.

Would be great if Sony made PS3 games backwards compatible with the PS4 but if they haven't done it by now I doubt it's going to happen. And to be fair MS wouldn't have given a toss about backwards compatibility if the Xbox One hadn't such a disastrous start.

Don't agree at all, I bought a PS4 to play AAA games , Having 1 indie and 1 AAA game a month would be acceptable to me but the constant flow of indie games is ****e to be honest, I think Microsoft blow sony out of the water when it comes to free material... Games with gold is miles ahead now especially as all the 360 games each month are backward compatible plus the ability to sign up to EA Access which is such good value

Have to agree. I only played Journey for the first time a few weeks ago having gotten it on PS+ and it was absolutely fantastic. I likely wouldn't have played it otherwise. Same with Resogun.

Let's not also forget, part of the reason Rocket League became the success it did was because it was released on PS+. From Wikipedia:
Further, the game on release was made part of Instant Game Collection on the PlayStation 4 and free to PlayStation Plus subscribers; within the week, Psyonix had seen more than 183,000 unique players, exceeding their server capacity and requiring them to improve on their network code to handle the influx of players. Davis estimated there were 6 million downloads of the game from this promotion, and considered this the "best decision we ever made".

I agree with others though that I'd like to see a better mix of big name games and indie titles, especially so far into the PS4 life cycle where older AAA games could see a new lease of life.

If I want to play last gen titles then I will fire up my PS3. Sure it would be a nice addition but I'd much rather see Sony put their resources into other avenues. As for Games with Gold being way better, it really isn't. People getting excited for Outlast and then complaining about PS+ seem to forget that Plus had Outlast years ago and same for Sleeping Dog, granted it was on PS3 but still, if Sony gave the PS4 version people would be upset about them giving the same game twice. Games with Gold is grand but it's not like they are offering up AAA titles every month which is what people seem to want, people would it appear, prefer a six year old AAA title instead of a just released "indie" title. Sony's offerings are so much more interesting than what MS are doing, it's just a shame that people equate quality with the cost it took to make something.

Yeah in fairness, I think the vast majority of people who would be interested in Sleeping Dogs has probably played it already. I got it from PS+ on the PS3 years ago and enjoyed it a lot, but if the PS4 version was released on PS+ now, I wouldn't be bothered downloading it again.

The best thing Sony could announce is a seperation of the online play requirement from the PS Plus subscription, I'd drop it in an instant if they did. These piss poor games are palatable during the year but December should pull out all the stops to deliver something special.

The only thing they could do is a tiered membership for PS+. I can't believe this hasn't been done yet but they'd be losing out on a bundle of money so I don't see it changing really.

I just got a PS4. I had PS+ on the PS3 and it was essential, loads of good games. Looks like a completely different beast on the PS4.

Can't picture that happening. They can justify the high price easier. A few of my mates don't even check the free ps+ games on the PS4..

How many games do you get a year with Plus? 25-30 for 50 quid? Even if you play half of them, that's great value.
