Have the whole series in one massive 21 disc set that cost me $25 off Amazon US. May upgrade to the Region A, 3 disc SD on Bluray set.

The Fist of the North star game is already available over here, I was thinking of picking it up...but my Korean isn't fluent enough to understand exactly what would be going on.

Plugging away at Yakuza Kiwami at the moment. I'll probably go back to 0 once I'm done and try and finish the hostess club and real estate missions. Really looking forward to Kiwami 2 since I missed it on Ps2 and never ended up playing the PS3 games because of that ethier.

On chapter 11 (I think) of Yakuza 0. I'm really enjoying the Cabaret Club mini-game. Seemed tedious at first but it really grew on me.

Also the telephone club mini-game is insane. Can be hilarious when you get it wrong. Instead of asking a girl to keep talking, I told her I keep taking pictures of cats :D

Storyline really picked up in the last few chapters too. Really starting to enjoy it.

I'll finish Zero and then take a break for a while. Crack into Yakuza 6 after. If I'm still enjoying the games I'll get Kiwami 1.

They're definitely not the type of game I would have had any real interest in, and it was a slow start, but it does seem to be a brilliant series. It was really Jim Sterling's video on the series that piqued my interest.

Yakuza Zero is on sale on PSN today for 15 euro, absolute steal at that price. On sale for next 2 weeks.

Kiwami is down to 15 and Yakuza 6 is down to 45 also.

In that case, I might pick up Kiwami anyway and bank it for the future.

Kiwami 2 will have cabaret club management game from Zero (direct sequel to that storyline) and clan creator from Yakuza 6, excellent!

Dunno about that, I'm still a noob to the series :) doesn't feel like it's only been a year since I started though, Zero seems like years ago.

Haven't played 6, but I loved the Cabaret Club game in Zero. I mean it's f*cking weird as a general concept but it worked so well.

The Clan creator is class, like a mobile game, top down view, collect soldiers (some well known characters from throughout the series as well as japanese celebs), fight other clans RTS style. Very addictive.

The demo for Kiwami 2 is class, looks really good in the Dragon engine compared to Yakuza 2 which i didn't play but looked up images/vids to compare. The golf mini game is brilliant, great addition but looked it up and saw it was in a few of the games, even a tourney on an actual course. Really looking forward to picking it up.

I stink at karaoke in Yakuza Zero. Got rated 'tone deaf' following my first performance.

I finished Yakuza 0 early this morning. Excellent characters and storyline in it.

Started Yakuza Zero today, 2 hours in and I do not know what to make of it, does the game open up after the first couple of hours ? Im sort of liking it but does the combat get better ? or does it stay basic ?

Yeah the game is very slow for the first few hours, but as you progress it gets a lot better and more varied.

As for combat, you unlock different fighting styles as you go along and new moves for the fighting styles. It does still stay quite basic, but a lot of fights can get very hectic and enemies start having weapons, and there will be some very tough enemies and bosses throughout.

It definitely takes a while to properly get going in the game, enough to put a lot of people off, and almost put me off too. But it's worth sticking with. The story gets really great as you go along, the side missions are usually fun, and a lot of the mini games are addictive as hell.

Definitely Zero, great game and it is only €20 or less now seeing as it is in the new budget Hits range.

A steal at those prices, less than 25 quid for 2 excellent games.

Finished Yakuza Kiwami, mostly just wen't though the main story to refresh myself on what happened. It's amazing how much better Yakuza 0 is even purely in terms of the story despite the original Yakuza's story apparently being written by an actual crime novelist.
