Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

I don't know where we're going, but I know where I am (part 6).

    Homeside. Yay. \o/

Got stuff done today. Third day in project. The language barrier is a big thing. It's made me think that I'm not the right person for the job a good few times, and I took it too personally when there were small group conversarions switching language, and I'm sitting there like an eejit. Had a few small cries for myself. But then I say - fk it. Here's a challenge. Kick the shít out of it.

    Let it all out

Sorry for your news Auto, mind yourself.

Fluffy, sounds like you got this! Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll get there.

I am kitchenside, home late from work as I am trying to finish a piece of work that is hanging around like a bad smell at this stage.
Just finished some soup and toast and very tasty it was too

Jaysus, going off your user name I thought you were a Grandad. :D:D:D

Not yet. Still full of life and could teach the younger folk a thing or two. In fact I don't even consider myself old as I manage to mingle and work with people a lot younger. I love listening to problems on FB, Snapchat, POF and even Tinder from younger colleagues. Even in the rain yesterday, I was getting it in the ear from a twenty something colleague about her boyfriends inability to save for a mortgage deposit and sudden lack of interest in sex. This is real life.

I'd say she's dealing with a person she knew well who's passing away.

Kitchen table. Grub demolished, I didn't win the lotto tonight. I keep thinking if I'd actually saved all the money I've spent on the lotto over all those years, I'd have some stash of cash.:D

I don't think the person has passed away yet but she's probably dealing with the shock of it all. Its nice that crowded house noticed her absence all the same :)

    I am in the bed!

Just back from getting my hair cut. I lost a bit of weight right there.
Got my longing for a cig again tonight, jaysus, do they ever let you go.
Called to see my mam too, she's great and couldn't believe I left without eating some cake.
Ah you're stupid with your diet she says.
Waiting on a visitor now, some moulah coming my way I hope.
