They considered, but rejected, Chess and Bridge for the 2020 games.

    Chess has its own Olympiad.

There should be a special award for most PEDs absorbed by the human body.

I'd say that would end up a score draw by most countries.

Breakdancing has been proposed for inclusion at the 2024 Olympics. What's next?

Ballroom dancing? Moonhopper obstacle course races? Video games? Ludo? Poker? Slow bicycle race?

When is an activity a sport that warrants Olympic status and not an art form or a pastime?

Any other 'sports' that we should suggest to the IOC?

    German longsword school of fencing

Karate (Shotokan, kyokushin and related styles)

    Field archery

    Jousting

    Jiu Jitsu

    Kendo

    Throwing them, or what?
No! Catching - heaviest clean catch wins. Empty the pool and drop them from the top of the diving tower

Up until 1948. They should bring it back. We won a couple of medals for it.
Jack B Yeats won a silver medal in 1924.

Anything which is subjective should not be in the olympics.

Art, dancing etc. It all depends on the person.

Sports have a definitive set of rules and scores. Easily determined winners and losers.

Doesn't that rule out almost all of gymnastics and related sports? Might just be me, but though I never watch it gymnastics has always felt as naturally a part of the Olympics as the athletics and swimming races.

Anyone that’s ever worked in a warehouse will confirm that international pallet truck racing should be there, it’s the sport of kings.
