Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Winter Open Qualifying?

    Anyone know of any Open Qualifying comps at the moment? (Dublin area)

    Corbalis/Portmarnoch Links are still Qualifying I assume?
    Also any 9 holes Qualifying about? ....one last push to reach a year end Target!

    Arklow have a winter series the first Friday of every month. Qualifying and a prize for the overall winner at the end of the winter.

    The last couple of years in Arklow for winter play, you were not permitted to play off the fairway (stupid IMO). If you hit your drive on the fairway, you must drop in the semi-rough.

    I know you can have lift, clean and place on the fairway and a competition be still qualifying but Arklow's system is not that.

    Portmarnock Links have The TaylorMade Series every Tuesday. 9 and below

    New competition this winter. Playing from fairway and fully qualifying.

    Moving off the fairway applies to all other golf except that comp though.

    Roganstown has been qualifying up to yesterday, might end this weekend after the rain tonight.

    I've only had the chance to play in one of these unfortunately and can't tomorrow. Course was in great nick and the winter qualifying is a great idea. Hopefully will get down next month.
