Smaller size then the original bars, was gonna get them until i seen that.

    Doesn't mean it's not a good bargain.

    12 x 45g = 540g

It's almost 10 normal sized bars (550g) for just €13.99.

I think they shouldn't even cost more that 2€.
my local health food shop always does Fulfil bar for 2€... Tesco and petrol stations have some margin on them. buy them at the knock down prices. great value then.

    I'd prefer them at €0.67 each :)

Why would you pay €2 when you can go to dealz and pick up a box for a tenner

The ones in Dealz are dated November 2018.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,618 ✭✭✭✭mrcheez

I was lucky and got one dated 21 Dec. It must have slipped through their stock.

I reckon these still taste fine we'll into Feb 2019

You may not like the Lemon flavour ones, or you might want to have a variety not 12 of the same flavour etc.

Try them and see, great value for money anyway compared to buying single bars

I don't want to buy a box to find out though.

stocked up in lidl afterwards though, mostly peanut and caramel

The Lemon ones are really nice.

They're less "lemon" (i.e. citrussy) and more like vanilla custard creams.

They also have bits that are like rice krispies so they also taste like marshmallow rice krispie bars.

I like em anyway! I'm not a fan of the really sweet ones.

    very

kinda tase a bit like a light lemon cake. I think it is a yoghurt covering.... but just like icing

for €0.6666 per bar they are great value
I mean you could try one for €2+ but sure for an extra €8 blips, you get a box of them that at worse case you can give to others for brownie points as needed :D

Got a box today, lemon ones are definitely nicer than what you might expect. As someone else said, the lemon is pretty subtle, tastes like a cake bar.

Anyone happen to know how much a box of the new hazelnut bars would be from Musgraves?
I'm going to try the lemon ones in Dealz too, worth a shot at that price, thanks.

    Musgraves as in Supervalu?

They're €2 each... or maybe even €2.50 ... I'm not sure the boxes are reduced that much.

    Musgraves ≠ Supervalu

    Wholesaler v Supermarket

You need to be a trader/business person to get Musgrave card, I presume.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a box of Lemon Zingers from Dealz and I'm pretty happy with them - they aren't as lemony as I'd like, but the taste is gently pleasant and the texture is very nice.

Them ones rip the teeth off you.
