That great thanks, would you say ebay postage would be a little expensive for shipping, and what clubs would you reccomend

  • Registered Users Posts: 622 ✭✭✭irishtoffee

Some sets on this page http://shop.ebay.ie/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=golf+clubs also check Argos as they have beginners sets and another option is to go to a local pro shop and they will help you out.

I am organising a golf classic to take place in Bray Golf Club on friday 17th April. I am travelling to tanzania with a charity called "Make A Difference" and the event will help to fundraise for that.

If anyone is interested please PM me. There are some fantastic prizes to be won on the day, as well as a raffle (including 4-balls in rathsallagh, arklow, old conna, macreddin and bray).

I've a clearout coming soon also, could be interested in swaps for various 3 woods/rescues/drivers/putters.

Looks like I'll be clearing a set of callaway forged x-tour irons, a callaway big bertha 3H rescue with steel shaft, and a steelhead III 15 degree wood also with steel shaft.

(Possibly a 9.5 degree FT-3 tour driver with stiff NVS shaft and an Fusion hybrid also with nvs hybrid shaft in stiff, and a xtour 3 wood with fujikara 26.3 tour platform shaft in stiff also but undecided on those at the moment)

I'm considering getting rid of my 07 Burner. 9.5 degree, stiff shaft. I'm on the lookout for a Titleist D2.

I'm also about to buy a new 56 degree Vokey spin milled, so my previous 56 degree Vokey spin milled will be up for sale.

Savage club, I'd highly recommend it. I have the G10 with ProLaunch Red - little difference but the older model has a slightly deeper face which makes it much more usable to a wider range of players IMO. Great off the fairway and from the tee.

How much are you thinking for the x-tours ? Do they have s300's ?

I have a Pathfinder Putting Guide that I can loan out to a deserving soul... particularly if you suffer or have suffered recently from the yippy skippies.
Cost about €100 I think and will cost about a beer voucher to post.
    Video of it in action.

I've got a few that I'm done with if anyone is interested in swapping let me know (would be willing to sell too but would prefer to swap).
Here's what I have (that I can remember off the top of my head) with a link to the description of each on Amazon...

"The keys to the Effortless Golf Swing" Mike McTeigue

"How to Feel a Real Golf Swing" Bob Toski and Davis Love Jr

    "Golf My Way" Jack Nicklaus

"Getting Up and Down" Tom Watson

Great price Graeme, someone should jump on this, it's a bargain.
It makes a change to see golf stuff with a realistic price on adverts.
