Bjorn should have started with Foursomes ,it was idiotic to start with Fourball on a tight course like this.

Is that an option for the captain?

Poulter short with his putt again.
100 percent of short putts don't go in.

    Rory's confidence on the rise.

Putting 4 rookies out this morning was an awful decision.

I disagree, it was very close to being a winning start with a couple of matches going to 18 and some outrageous luck for Cosby.
Rory played poorly but Olseson was unlucky to not hole a few early putts that were very close.

At least now they are all off the mark and can just go out an play (or practice in some cases!)

Great turnaround in fairness from Poulter and McIlroy.

Its amazing what a few putts holed do in a match.
If Spieth has taught us nothing else its that!

Pars will win this Foursomes so I think anyone suspect with the Driver needs to pull out the old 4 iron and find the short stuff. (Other than Phil who might as well miss the fairway with his Driver as his "safety" iron :D)

That could have happened but didn't. I thought it was a big gamble and thought we'd see two rookies this morning and two in the afternoon.
However we are back in it now.

I wouldn't blame Deshambles. Mad to have given a wildcard to Mickelson. He was in turgid form and this course is far too tight for his waywardness.

Home captain can pick the format for the a.m. format.

The alternative was leave the rookies until the 4-somes where poor play by one guy pretty much means a definite loss.

It didnt quite work out but I'd rather blood guys in fourball and early than in foursomes and later. Need to pop the cherries as soon as possible.

Nice to hear the shouts of four even if the galleries seem to be ignoring it.

Blubber is all over the place in fairness.
Did u see the state of that tee shot just now? I think he was trying to draw it?

Who would make back to back clutch putts? Fleetwood would, would Fleetwood.

Great to see Spieth & Thomas getting pummeled

European pairs are looking dominant at the moment. There has to be a bounce back from the USA though.

Yeah, it was the sucked in air through the teeth by the fans that gave it how bad it was.
