yes. So he tapped the penalty first, then kicked it to touch.

Only if it's one kick. Tap it first and then kick and it's all over

You need to tab it first otherwise it does

At points during that game there were some huge moments from Henshaw, Ringrose, VdF and Leavy.

    Nacewa as MoTM is mad?!?

    Never in doubt :p

But seriously did not enjoy that match for long periods. Watching too much of it from behind the couch.

He tapped the ball before kicking to touch to avoid a line-out being taken.

Yea never in a million years. Thought Nacewa had a very quiet game by his standards.

Byrne tapped it to himself before kicking it out

Yeah, the best Leinster players IMHO were Leavy with a fine cameo and Ringrose.

I suppose Nacewa was good from the tee.

Exeter were really poor in the Leinster 22 in that 2nd half. That was a very professional comeback from Leinster...the kind of display that wins knockout matches.

I get the impression there is a chance Byrne tapped it before kicking it out...

Cheers. Not really sure why the ref bothered blowing for the penalty in the first place.

Kvesic was brilliant for Exeter in the first half, that performance really stood out to me. Leavy was fantastic when he came on. Furlong is always fantastic.

Thought our back 3 were all very good. Although maybe not MOTM quality...

The Exeter pack was class and beat Leinster up in the first half, but they seemed to run out of gas. Leinster's depth told in the end, bringing Leavy off the bench, bringing McGrath off the bench, the team doesn't get weaker when subs are made.

VdF's second half was utterly excellent too.

Some amount of work done out there today.

Scott Fardy kept us in the game in the first half though, could have been 12/15 points further behind!

Great win in the end. When Leinster went back to trucking it up it paid off. They were getting very little change by going out wide as Exeter weren't commiting to the ruck and just fanning out so always plenty of defenders there to stop Leinster.

Cronin's throwing is still an issue. Not sure if it is the speed of the throw or what.

Leavy made a good impact when he came on. Ground out some good yardage.

Leavy Motm, changed the game when he came on. Thats when we started to attack around the fringes.

Some of his performances off the bench in the past year have been sensational, Montpellier away last season and Ospreys away in the league stand out.

    Enjoyed that immensely.

    Who got MOTM?

Would have given it to Cowan Dickie (?)...Exeter hooker.

    Nacewa.

    Bollocks decision really.

Classy again from Baxter there, given how he must be feeling.

Leinster very lucky as Exeter were the better team. Healy needs a serious chat as he could have cost Leinster the match. 50/50 calls went against Leinster in the first half (except for red card decision) but ref made up for it in the last 30 minutes. I thought Leinster kicked away the ball too much in the first half as they had very little possession. Lineout was poor and I thought we allowed Exeter make ground too easily. Still huge heart to win. Exeter have a right to be upset at some of the decisions.

I thought when Fardy got sin binned, after Exeter scored off that maul that Leinster were done for. Exeter just seemed more hungry, ruthless and smart.
Leinster did really, really well to to overcome a good team, playing well.
This will stand to Leinster in spades. They did it without Sexton and not playing well.
    Brilliant.

In the first half. Not in the second.

It was one of those games where neither side could have argued with a draw, but Leinster took their points better in the second half.

Yea, Leinster should probably have played the majority of the game with 14 men but they were great in the second half.

I thought Fardy was head and shoulders above everyone else in blue out there. Cracking performance.

Leavy made a big difference. What was up with SOB?

In a day where literally everything that could’ve gone wrong in that first half thought the real difference between the teams was when Leinsters moment envietably came we took it with both hands. Last week Exeter who were played off the park in the first half got back into the game and weren’t able to take their chances to take control of the game

Also saw that Leinster are favourites for Europe this year :D

Thought Conan was very good as well, it was the type of game that often passes him by but he was prominent throughout.

VDF grew into it after a shaky start with a lot of missed tackles, thought it spoke volumes that SOB was the one to go off. He'd a poor game by his standards but still unusual to see him make way.
