So HC does hours of questioning to a hostile congress and nothing is found, yet Trump won't even give verbal answers to a congressional investigation and HC is the one you are worried about?

Have you paid any attention to Cohen's plea deal? Trump was either directly colliding with the Putin or he was comprised as Putin knew he was lying and could have released that info at any stage.

Ask yourself why Putin wouldn't try to take advantage of that situation or more likely that he did.

We already know that Trump lied to try to protect his son about the Trump Tower meeting, therefore we can safely assume he would lie to protect any of his family including Kushner.

How any American can continue to claim they care for the US after the Cohen plea deal is beyond me

ahh come on now. There are war criminals, paedophiles, even if you want to keep it to politics theres chinese and south american leaders starving people to death, theres kim jong un who keeps all of his people oppressed. There is definitely a list of people currently still alive and definitely historically who have been infinitely worse than donald trump.

Ok, but you are admitting he’s a terrible person!! It’s a pretty sad state when people are defending the US President by saying he isn’t as bad as paedophiles, serial killers and despot dictators. The man is pretty bad and given the opportunity, he would get much worse!

I know he’s bad but he’s not the worst person in the world.

Sure, doesn’t he run a charity?

You must be joking! Trump’s charity is a Total Scam. He’s used it to pursue vanity projects, finance his run for president, settle legal threats to the Trump family’s corporate empire and for bribes. Many of those activities have violated tax laws.

In 2013, for instance, the foundation nakedly violated tax law by cutting a $25,000 check to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s re-election fund. Trump bought a six-foot-tall portrait of himself at a fundraiser auction, that no one else wanted and paid with $20,000 from his namesake charity! He thinks his charity is one of his bank accounts and the sad thing is, he gets others to donate to his charity and then Trump spends it! His charity is so crooked, it’s being sued by NY State!

You are indeed correct, I was joking.

Sorry, with the crazy Trumpsters supporting him despite all of the crazy and terrible things he has done, reality is worse than any lampoon and sarcasm just doesn’t seem to work anymore!

No point in bringing up HRC, or arguing with those that do. My stock response is, "Is that the best you got?." She's a private citizen and ex-politician. This is the Trump thread. The walls are closing in on him with what Cohen's saying. Now that the elections are over, I think every race has been decided, Mueller's free to start pushing out the indictments.

    Not quite..

Some fairly incredible allegations of Electoral Fraud in North Carolinia
According to the votes as currently counted, Republican Mark Harris beat Democrat Dan McCready by a little more than 900 votes to become the next Congress member from the Ninth. But earlier this week, the state board of elections unanimously agreed it would not certify the election results, making vague references to “unfortunate activities” that raised doubts about their veracity.

Some specific irregularities were later revealed in sworn affidavits sent by Democratic attorneys to the state board. Multiple voters described an unidentified woman coming to voters’ houses and taking their absentee ballots. Some ballots were uncompleted; the woman promised to finish filling them out. In other affidavits, voters alleged that a local political operative was working for the Harris campaign on absentee ballots and that he would be paid a bonus if Harris beat McCready.

Furthermore, political scientists in the state have noted that the Ninth District had an unusually high number of mail-in absentee ballots requested but then not returned to be counted. Almost one in four of those requested absentee ballots were not returned in the Ninth, substantially higher in than any other North Carolina congressional district.

So basically the main allegations are that someone went around door to door "collecting" absentee ballot papers and if they were already filled out , they dumped the Democrats ones and if they were not filled out , they voted GOP.
These are the specific allegations made in the affidavits, first reported by WSOC in Charlotte and also obtained by Vox:

One voter says a young woman came to her house and asked for her absentee ballot because she was collecting them. The voter had made her choice for only two offices on the ballot, but still gave her ballot to the young woman, who said she would fill out the rest.

Another voter also says a woman came to her house and claimed she was responsible for collecting absentee ballots. The voter filled out her ballot while the young woman waited; the woman then took the ballot, but never asked the voter to sign it and did not put it in a sealed envelope.

A third voter says she did not request an absentee ballot but received one in the mail anyway.

A fourth person says she saw unusual activity at a polling site: election results being run after polls closed on the last day of early voting and observed by people who were not elections judges, which she understood to be “improper.” The person said she also helped tabulate absentee ballots after the election that were quite worn and had “coding” written on them.

A fifth person, Dwight Sheppard, says he overheard people talking outside a polling station on Election Day who said a well-known local operative, Leslie McCrae Dowless, Jr., would be paid a $40,000 bonus if Harris won the election.

Some of what I've read on this seems a bit strange, and makes me ask further questions.

The point from some commentators is (including Nate Silver), even if its proven that there was fraud in the 2 counties in the district, that they may not constitute a large enough change in the numbers to result in a change to the actual election result. In one county, there were around 700 absentee ballots counted, of which the Rep received 450. So even if they were miscounted, it wouldn't make up a 900 vote deficit. Though one article I read does state that there were a significant number of absentee ballots that were requested, but don't appear to have been returned, with the implication that they may have been destroyed/un-counted. If that's the case, then there are enough potential votes to change the result.

However, I would have thought, if its proven that there was election fraud, that it should remove the candidate running for office from the running, and potentially have criminal implications? The most that seems to be getting said is that it would invalidate the election & call for a re-run.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.
