An arson attack on a shed in Drogheda? Say a prayer that it's not the UP command centre...

    https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/garda-investigating-three-suspicious-incidents-overnight-in-drogheda-37600723.html

unquestionably a warning shot across the bow for mr rudd.

Probably a direct message from Leo.

We know you are in a shed, we can get to you too!

John Brady TD has confirmed to Jeff that he got approval for him to appear at the PAC in early January.

    Deadly!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,055 ✭✭✭JohnnyFlash

An early Christmas present was how Jeff put it. That’s for sure! Are these committees open to members of the public? Televised even?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭whippet

They are on sky boxes not sure which channel .. but I’ll have that on record !!

As he is in front of a committee who investigates the use of tax payer money .. will he have to justify his Jobs seekers allowance ?

I hope some bad tempered bulldog like Alan Kelly is on the committee.

Especially if he does a bit of research in to what Jeff said about him all along !!

He is now genuinely ‘professionally unemployed’

So now John Brady is a great fella. Rudd was tearing strips off him last week.

Its actually sickening at this stage. Surely there is enough evidence to show he has actively avoiding employment. Telling the world he's working full days on this joke of a hobby.

Smyths toy shops have been desperately looking for staff in most of their stores for ages now - Drogheda included. I'm sure this applies to Tesco, Homestore etc as well. Rudd doesn't want to work, because he knows he's better off on the social.

In fairness, could work both ways, can you imagine any employer foisting him on the rest of their workforce?

I'm extremely doubtful he'll show up. We all know Jeff is full of piss and vinegar until he actually has to back up any of his nonsense in the real world.

A public arena where he can’t simply delete any comment that disagrees with him - or worse still, comments which disapprove his lies and bluster?

Much as I’d love to see the spectacle, I share your doubts :P

As he will be going on the record in the committee he will need to be able to back up anything he says ... terminology like ‘possible more illegal state constitution actions’ won’t wash.

I'd be only 50/50 on him making the PAC too.
I'd doubt if he be taking questions from a panel though. It sounds like it's just giving representation and personal experience of using Jobpath service.

He's already posted his proposed opening statement to the PAC- that'll take up a lot of the day. While the content is true Ruddish he does give something away: he always puts himself out there as a defender of victims of Jobpath and kinda hints to his huddled masses that he has a job. But in the speech he says (briefly) that he's a victim too.

I'd doubt if the PAC panel will question Jeff or Damian. "So Jeff 20 years a Batman and over 10 years studying? How's the job hunting been going?".

Quick question- if Jeff found himself on Louth CC would that effect his dole money?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,130 ✭✭✭eldamo

If he turns up to the PAC, I can imagine someone asking him to skip the preamble that he has planned, him to scream censorship and repression and to eventually have to be escorted out by security.
This is a best case scenario. It would play great to his audience and he would need nothing of actual substance.
    Win Win!

Edited your post, as to how he may consider his earnings.

After a cursory google, this article sheds a bit of light on remuneration for councillors.

    Senior hurling.

I'd be fairly confident that he'll find a way to not go.

    I’m standing for election

    I’m standing for election

    I’m standing for election

    I’m standing for election

Something personal has come up so I must withdraw

Rinse and repeat for anything, ever, where Jeff might actually have to be accountable for pretty much anything

"If I don't get back to you soon after, if you message me previously, please bear with me-and do contact me again after 24 hours if there is no answer. Thanks."

I love that he keeps telling us about 7% (out of 100%). Evidence of ever it was needed that he doesn't know what a percent is ...
